Job Summary and Responsibilities Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations. + Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient. + Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient. + Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/orescalating issues. + Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices. + Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner. + Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside. Job Requirements Required Associate Of Nursing and One (1) year RN experience or Bachelors Of Nursing and One (1) year RN experience Registered Nurse: AZ (RN:AZ) Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 - months of hire Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Basic computer skills Strong cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump skills Preferred Strong cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring Where You'll Work At Dignity Health , living our values means bringing passion into action every day.
