Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in configuring and maintaining network devices, developing software, and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities + Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. + Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. + Implement network security measures in compliance with government standards. + Support network upgrades and migrations. + Document network configurations and procedures. + Collaborate with cybersecurity and systems engineering teams. + Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support mission requirements. + Assist in debugging, testing, and documenting software components. + Collaborate with engineers and analysts to implement software solutions. + Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding practices. + Support integration and deployment of software in classified environments. Essential Skills + Experience with Linux and Java. + Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. + Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. + 1-15 years of experience in software development, preferably in Java or Python. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Relevant certifications such as Python Institute or CompTIA Security+. + Certification or relevant coursework in software development preferred. Work Environment This position is onsite at our client site located in Fort Meade. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Odenton, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
