In support of DISA, the Intel and Cyber Division is assembling a team to support a program that provides critical network capabilities to the Department of Defense. Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Systems Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following: u2022 Assess and identify appropriate solutions based on system requirements u2022 Contribute to system design, development, and engineering tasks u2022 Manage and track workload during Agile sprints using JIRA and Confluence tools u2022 Produce system architecture design documentation and contribute to integration planning u2022 Deploy enterprise-level virtual environment software and management suites (ESXi and Nutanix hypervisors) u2022 Assist with the design and implementation of system network configurations with an overall goal of highly adaptable, scalable, and resilient services in a global system deployment u2022 Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools u2022 Deliver and integrate new technical solutions and provide advice and recommendations to government customers u2022 Perform system and software updates to enhance performance u2022 Develop and implement solutions across a wide range of technologies u2022 Implement and maintain Government standards for system security u2022 Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Requirements: u2022 Experience with Windows Server2022, 2025, Citrix XenDesktop, VMware ESXi, Active Directory, SAN, VCP 7.X. & 8.X, Nutanix AHV and Prism. u2022 Experience with designing and implementing Cisco UCS Computing Servers, Hyperflex Servers design u2022 Experience administering and managing Red Hat Linux servers u2022 7 years of relative experience in Systems Engineering u2022 Experience working in a DoD classified environment u2022 Demonstrated experience in security requirements associated with DoD enterprise systems u2022 Experience deploying, configuring, and managing Splunk u2022 Experience with backup systems such as VEEAM, Acronis, etc. u2022 Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs, and RMF processes u2022 Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint u2022 Experience briefing high-level as well as detailed system capabilities and operational concerns and considerations to both technical and non-technical audiences. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills u2022 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Clearance Required: u2022 Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI Minimum Education: u2022 High School Diploma Minimum Years of Experience: u2022 7 years Required Certifications: u2022 Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II or IAM-I baseline certification requirements such as Security + or equivalent. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
