AI/ML Engineer Level 2 Job Category: Science Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced mid-level AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and AI system development, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models. This role requires a deep understanding of MLOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as advanced knowledge in data preprocessing and cloud environments. Responsibilities: u2022 Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and manage pipelines using tools such as Azure ML, Kubeflow, or MLflow. u2022 Implement and manage MLOps practices, including containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. u2022 Handle large datasets in cloud environments, performing advanced data preprocessing. u2022 Develop custom AI APIs and integrate them into enterprise applications. u2022 Ensure adherence to Responsible AI (RAI) policies and develop metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for emerging and existing AI areas. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML integration and improvement. Qualifications: u2022 TS/SCI Clearance u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. u2022 3u20135 years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or AI system development. u2022 Experience in MLOps, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. u2022 Proficiency in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models. u2022 Advanced knowledge in data preprocessing, including handling large datasets in cloud environments. u2022 Experience in developing custom AI APIs and integrating them into enterprise applications. u2022 Strong knowledge of programming languages for Machine Learning (Python, R, or similar). u2022 Good understanding of AI cloud tools and capabilities. u2022 Familiarity with Responsible AI (RAI) policies and development of metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for AI. Certifications: u2022 AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) u2022 Microsoft Certified: Data Scientist Associate u2022 Or similar relevant certifications Preferred Skills: u2022 Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) u2022 Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark) u2022 Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
