What You Will Do The Logistics Team member will be responsible for ensuring all product inbound, stocked and shipped is as accurate as far as case dimensions, case quantity, inner pack quantity, selling units, I2 of 5, UPC, description and packaging. The Planning/Logistics Team Member will audit and inspect product on a daily basis to determine vendor compliance as well as recommend new packaging/handling requirements to improve safety and damage control. The Planning/Logistics Team Member will ensure all stock and nonstock returns are completed accurately and timely as well as the responsibility for communicating all logistic issues to the General Office. In addition, this position may require working in other departments as needed. Any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager on duty or the Planning Coach. Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel. What We're Looking For u2022 Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the facility. u2022 Requires availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending upon assigned shift and overtime based on the needs of the facility. u2022 Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment. u2022 Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds. What You Need to Succeed _Minimum Qualifications_ u2022 High school diploma or GED equivalent u2022 Demonstrated track record of good attendance u2022 Basic math and reading comprehension skills u2022 Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office u2022 If Internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months Preferred Qualifications u2022 Post-secondary education in business, supply chain management, transportation or related field u2022 Experience in a customer service role u2022 Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems u2022 Experience in distribution center operations u2022 Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or data management system (Loweu2019s DMS preferred) u2022 Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage time u2022 Previous power equipment experiences ( e.g. Reach truck or RC) Bilingual, Military, and Veteran applicants are encouraged to apply.
