The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being. + .3 FTE- 1u201312-hour shift per week + Viking road location with 2 providers + Concierge urgent care model + Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year + Weekend and holiday rotation + 1 weekend every three weeks + Required to work 1 Summer and 1 Winter holiday + No call requirements + Work with experience staff + No appointments necessary + Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordinati Responsibilities + Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injures + Excellent assessment skills + Work in a fast-paced environment + Provide high quality care to all ages + Offers select diagnostic tests (x-ray, lab, etc.) + Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients Qualifications + Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant + Board Certified + 1-2 years of experience preferred + Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA + Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice + Eligible to work in the United States Waterloo Waterloo and Cedar Falls comprise a metro area of more than 107,000 residents who are proud to call the Cedar Valley home.
