About the Opportunity This is a senior physician leadership role overseeing Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) services and the expansive HHC Rehabilitation Network, which serves thousands of patients annually. Youu2019ll lead strategic, clinical, and academic initiatives system-wideu2014shaping care delivery, advancing research, and mentoring the next generation of PM&R physicians. What Youu2019ll Do Clinical Leadership:Deliver expert inpatient and outpatient PM&R care while modeling excellence and innovation in functional medicine. Strategic Direction:Collaborate with system leaders and the VP of Rehabilitation Operations to expand access, improve outcomes, and embed rehabilitation across the continuum of care. Academic and Research Advancement:Guide our ACGME-accredited PM&R residency, foster clinical research, and build academic partnerships with institutions including the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Gaylord Specialty Health Care. System-wide Integration:Drive alignment across hospitals, institutes, and community practices, ensuring seamless, high-value rehabilitation services across the entire organization. What You Bring MD or DO with board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation At least 10 years of clinical practice and 3u20135 years in leadership roles Demonstrated expertise in clinical operations, quality improvement, and team development Academic and research experience strongly preferred Eligibility for a CT medical license (Epic experience a plus) Why Hartford HealthCare?
