Hartford HealthCareu2019s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI)is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with training and/or interest in Preventive Cardiology. This position will focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the in-patient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting. _Position Details and Requirements:_ u00b7 Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessments and managing risk factors for cardiovascular disease u00b7 Develop tailored treatment strategies based on patient specific risk factors u00b7 Willingness to learn about management of LDL Apheresis u00b7 Genetic counseling for familial history of early onset heart disease u00b7 Collaborate with primary care and multiple specialists and ancillary service providers to coordinate care u00b7 NBCL certification and/or obesity management is encouraged but not required u00b7 Board eligible or board certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and lipid management _About Hartford HealthCare:_ The Hartford HealthCare network employsover 2,800 providers in over 600 practice locations throughout Connecticut, seven acute care hospitals including one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the northeast, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest, physician-led, multi-specialty medical groups in New England.
