We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:30pm-8:00am The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role: + You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table. + You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary. + You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary. + You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions. + You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment. + You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. What qualifications you will need: + Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology. + Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date + Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date + BCLS required within 30 days of start date. + Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning. + On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
