The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive mental health care for patients, covering 15 beds on an inpatient unit, overseeing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning. Responsibilities include prescribing and managing medications, leading therapeutic interventions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring continuity of care from admission through discharge. The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, acute care environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and well-being.
