We donu2019t settle until we give our best and know that weu2019re making a difference.As a Structural Engineer professional based within our Advanced Manufacturing team, youu2019ll work on a variety of projects related to Data Centers, including new builds, retrofits, colocations, etc. You will be performing various aspects of structural engineering assignments, subsequently increasing the depth and breadth of familiarity with design methods and tools.Youu2019ll be a key asset, contributing to, working with a diverse team of engineers and designers on various size capital projects. Youu2019ll liaise with other internal professionals and design departments for project delivery and coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices both domestic and international.Youu2019ll have the opportunity to grow technically and professionally as you gain more experience and expand your leadership role within the organization.Other key contributions include:u2022 Performing a variety of analysisu2022 Creating computer models for structuresu2022 Performing calculations for member designs and foundations, material take-offs for estimating, preparation of miscellaneous calculations, assisting with schedules, etc..At Jacobs, weu2019re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates. Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering At least 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states Pre-cast building / garage experience Knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry relevant design code and standards Knowledge and application of Building Codes Proficiency with MS Office suite software including MS Teams for remote coordination Ability for travel to various clientu2019s sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel)Ideally, youu2019ll also have: Master of Science in Engineering Experience with industrial metals projects including casting and rolling operations or similar heavy industrial projects Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectationsJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
