You will assist in overseeing the preparation, presentation, and quality of fresh food items while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Job Functions: + Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures + Assist the Fresh Food Manager with proper task execution and completion while following effective safety practices + Work with and coach the team to prepare and package fresh kitchen items in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results + Manage food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure stock is fresh and adequate + Coordinate with suppliers and manage waste reduction efforts + Assist in pricing, promotions, and ensure the deli meets profitability goals + Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures + Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Team Member, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
