Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. The duties and responsibilities are carried throughout the medical center including all administrative and clinical areas involved within the service. Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to the following: Major Duties: Diagnose and treat diseases of the ear, nose, upper pharynx, larynx, oral cavity, and other head and neck structures. Perform tests to find out the severity of hearing or speech loss due to diseases or injuries. Performs the duties of a general otolaryngologist head and neck surgeon Work closely with other physicians of other medical specialties to solve various medical issues. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm; with some call requirements Requirements Conditions of Employment U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
