Position Highlights : u2022 28,000+ annual visits with broad service area of 300,000 patients. u2022 24 Bed Emergency Department u2022 215-Bed Hospital with closed 23 bed ICU and multi specialists within the system u2022 20 hours of MD coverage & 28 Hours NP Coverage. u2022 Level 3 Trauma Center u2022 12- Twelve hour shifts constitute full time & you get time and half for Holidays u2022 Flexible Scheduling u2022 Unique Patient Flow Center through Ochsner to provide 24 hour support and help with patient transfers u2022 Bedside Ultrasound machine available and tech in-house 24/7 u2022 Hospitalist run codes, not the ED u2022 Emergency Medicine Director on staff to provide mentorship and support. u2022 EPIC utilized throughout the health system u2022 Teaching opportunities with residents rotating through Ochsner Rush at EC Healthnet.
