Every role has an impact on our patientsu2019 lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer Adult like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and Qualifications Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Non-Invasive Cardiology and within established departmental policies and procedures and all applicable laws, the Cardiac Sonographer will perform simple and complex diagnostic echocardiograms ordered by the physician on adult and older adult inpatient and outpatient populations. What qualifications you will need: Education: + Associateu2019s Degree required; in lieu of an Associateu2019s Degree, employee must have aminimumof5 years of relevant work experience. + Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonography program with 12 months of full-time clinical training. Certificate Program is acceptable. + Bachelor of Science Degree preferred. Experience: + 1-2 years of adult cardiac ultrasound experience. Clinical rotations may be considered as 1 year of experience. Licensure/Certification: + Registered or Registry Eligible in Adult Cardiac Sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire and maintained thereafter. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. + Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. + Current driveru2019s license required due to travel required to satellite offices 20%-40%of the time. + NH state licensure for medical imaging and radiation therapy is required.
