Here, you will work with and learn from some of our best caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.OurFacilitiesDepartmentpays close attention to every detail, from chipping paint to malfunctioning equipment.All oftheir efforts helpfacilitatethe welcome, clean and safeenvironmentpatients havecome to expect at Cleveland Clinic.As a member of theHVACteam, you willgain experience working on a wide range of projects and systems, train with the newest technology and receive guidance from fellowTechsand management.While you may not interact with patients directly, your efforts willleavinga positive,lasting impression- from the moment they enter the facility to the time they return home.A caregiver in this position worksSunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, second shift 1:00pm - 11:30pm.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Inspect, repair,monitor,maintainand troubleshootHeating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systemsand equipmentthroughout the facility(e.g.,chiller systems, reheat systems, variable frequency drives (VFD), air handling units (AHU), humidifiers, dampers, heating and cooling coils, cooling towers, and pumps).Document andmaintainrecords of inspections and work spect andmaintainall temperature, humidity, and data logging devices,including meters and gauges.Utilize theBuildingManagementSystem (BMS) to address customer service requests, adjust temperature set points, and start and stop equipment.Receive and respond to work orders from the computerized maintenance management system.Respond to alarms and alerts appropriately.Work atadditionalCleveland Clinic locations as needed.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:HighSchool Diploma/GEDValidDriver’sLicense(VDL)and insurable driving recordThree years of experience withchiller systems, reheat systems, variable frequency drives (VFD), air handling units (AHU), humidifiers, dampers, heating and cooling coils, cooling towersand/or pumps OR militaryexperience as aUtilitiesman(UT), Machinists Mate (MM), HVAC/R (3E1X1), Utilities Equipment Repairer (91C)or a similarroleUnderstanding of the tools and techniques used tomaintain,diagnoseand repair HVAC systemsBasic knowledge of building management systemsAbility to read blueprintsPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periodsAbility to be mobile for extended periods of timeAbility to communicate and exchange accurate informationAbility to move/transport items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)Ability to inspect equipmentAbility to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structuresAbility to distinguish colorAbility to climb ladders Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $22.85Maximum hourly: $34.85The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
