About the Services Evangelist Team: The Proofpoint Services Evangelist team are collaborative team players who are always willing to share their winning sales tactics with their peers. Our evangelists are trusted partners, working side-by-side with our Field, Territory and Enterprise Account Managers to increase our services attach rate globally. About the Role: Seeking an experienced and dynamic Services Evangelist to focus on how to build successful programs to Protect People and Defend Data by optimizing Proofpointu2019s world-class technology solutions globally. This role will lead presales conversations, strategy sessions, and value propositions for organizations looking to operationalize Proofpoint technology solutions. You will use your deep knowledge and experience to advise customers on how they can combine people, process, and technology to achieve their Cybersecurity objectives. This individual will be a major contributor to our aggressive plans regarding market share and positioning holistic programs to solve complex problems in the Cybersecurity space. Your day-to-day : u2022 As a critical member of the Proofpoint Services Evangelist team, engage with both current customers and prospective customers in person (occasionally), by phone, and/or video conference, at your discretion. u2022 Conduct and lead services value conversations with internal team members as well as customers and prospects. u2022 Build rapport, trust and credibility with Proofpoint teammates and customers, as they will rely on your expertise and advise how to plan and move forward with major Cybersecurity initiatives. u2022 You may be called upon to assist in presenting in webinars and Proofpoint customer-accuracy events. u2022 You will be able to provide valuable customer insight and real-world experiences to services leadership and will have influence in service design, go-to-market strategy, and pricing. u2022 You will be an expert on Email Security, Security Awareness Training, Information Protection, and Cloud Security. u2022 You will have the chance to use your judgement, share your ideas and form lasting relationships and experiences that will help shape the next steps in your professional journey. What You Bring to The Team u2022 10+ years of experience in managed services sales or delivery, former executive or practitioner who planned or implemented Email Threat Protection, Information Protection, or Cloud Security programs. u2022 Strong executive level presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written. u2022 Strong background in a wide range of Cybersecurity including current advanced threats, threat protection, data protection, cloud security, malware protection and/or incident response. u2022 Must be organized, detail and process oriented u2022 Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment u2022 You enjoy working with people and helping them solve their problems. u2022 Comfort leading open, collaborative conversations. u2022 A track record of success presenting to / educating field sales, SEs, and customers. u2022 Rigorous organizational skills u2022 Security certifications such as CISSP are strongly preferred.
