2nd Shift Material Handler - Line Supply IPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (SUMMARY)Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Material Handler/Line Supply 1 is responsible for supporting the production line through continuous retrieving of material and staging necessary material at designated locations along the production line to ensure that production is not halted due to lack of material through the safe and effective use of various warehouse equipment.POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation, Credentials, Licenses:High School diploma or GED or earning within a designated period of time following date of hire.Position-specific vocational education/experience, training, or certification is preferredValid stand-up forklift certification is required; in house training will be provided prior to start.Kind & Length of Experience:Mechanical/manufacturing experience preferred1 or more years of stand-up forklift experience is required.Essential Functions:Ability to lift over 50 poundsFrequently lift up to 40 lbs to work with equipment and productFrequently performs repetitive reaching, grasping and lifting of product, materials and boxes weighing up to 40lbsAbility to stand for prolonged periods of timeFrequently required to understand and follow verbal communicationFrequently required to provide clear written communicationWear personal safety equipment as requiredUtilize cognitive abilities to effectively communicate with internal customers to understand requestsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perceptionRegularly use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controlsFrequently stand, walk, squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head, bend or twist the neck and trunk.Provide prompt communication about plant issues to QA, engineering and or maintenance teams to help drive continuous improvement.Why You'll Love Working at Cremer North America:Retirement Benefits: 401K with company match and profit-sharing (up to 9%).Time Off: Vacation, 10 paid holidays, and personal days to recharge.Annual Bonus: Earn up to $2,000 each year.Attendance Rewards: Perfect attendance is rewarded.Career Growth: Skill-based raises and advancement opportunities.Tuition Assistance: We help you invest in your future.Extra Pay: Overtime is available.Referral Bonus: Earn up to $1,500 by referring friends and family.PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDSEnsure materials are supplied to the production line in a timely fashionLittle to no waiting period for materialsRead production and delivery schedules and stacking patterns to determine sorting, transfer, and arrangement of packages and correct destination of loaded palletsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal error, while maintaining a safety-first mentalityDeliver or route materials to departments using stand up forklifts, RF Scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehousing equipmentMaintain accurate product and material inventory through proper use of RF Scanner and inventory control proceduresAbility to successfully work both ends of the production line efficientlyKeep record of equipment performance and report any issues to the necessary partiesAccurate completion of quality checks and adherence to quality assurance guidelinesMinimal quality errorsHigh attention to detail requiredStrong prioritization and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with little guidance requiredMust have basic skills using computer software and RF ScannersSupport efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care 14001 (RC14001)/Environment, Health, Safety, & Sustainability (EHS&S) management system
