Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting a Director of Revenue Management to join the resort. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by Josu00e9 Andru00e9s, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the whou2019s who of Miami. Spanning 25,000 square feet of innovative indoor and outdoor event space, Andaz Miami Beach will become a landing spot for guests and locals seeking celebratory gatherings that embrace the city's culture of music, art, and fashion. Position Summary The Director of Revenue Management will be responsible for maximizing overall hotel revenue across rooms, food & beverage, and event spaces. This leader will design and implement competitive pricing and distribution strategies , ensuring Andaz Miami Beach outperforms its market rivals. Key responsibilities include: u00b7 Driving topline revenue and profitability through strategic inventory management u00b7 Producing accurate forecasts to set ambitious yet achievable hotel goals u00b7 Supporting sales & marketing initiatives with data-driven insights u00b7 Mentoring and developing revenue analysts, reservations, and operations managers u00b7 Overseeing reservations and upsell programs to optimize guest spend Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions u00b7 Analyze short- and long-term forecasting, analyze trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line and strategic sales goals. u00b7 Analyze and monitor marketing channels, key and other account production. Ensure that all major channels of distribution effectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity. u00b7 Conduct a weekly strategy meeting to evaluate pricing strategies and availability control. u00b7 Update all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventory restrictions. u00b7 Receive all definite and tentative group bookings and provide the General Manager with qualified analysis of how each booking will impact occupancy, average rate and rooms profit over the dates in question. u00b7 Work with each department to develop property-specific strategies to ensure positive growth. u00b7 Establish appropriate goals and benchmarks to effectively measure performance. u00b7 Monitor and analyze the competition weekly through competitive shops, internet, news reports to identify selling strategies and emerging trends. u00b7 Work to drive appropriate market mix and segmentation for the resort to maximize revenue, ADR, and REVPAR index within Competitive Set u00b7 Lead resort to deliver best in class results when compared to luxury lifestyle comp. set. KPIu2019s to include: Total Revenue, ADR, REVPAR, RMI Index, Business Mix and TREVPAR u00b7 Explore and provide variations in the market mix, which would stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs. u00b7 Work on all Revenue Management projects as requested e.g. implementing formal End of Month reporting process at each hotel, providing roll up reporting for corporate users and the brand team, etc. u00b7 Develop and implement succession planning for Revenue Management talent. u00b7 Management of OTA Extranets u00b7 Continuously audit content on hotel website and OTA partners providing feedback to Marketing Team u00b7 Partner with Digital and Field Marketing Team assessing strategy and appropriate spend to maximize financial returns and exposure u00b7 Lead, hire, train and coach Reservations Agents u00b7 Perform other related tasks as required.
