Performs planning and management of social science and history research projects, including institutional review board processes, the collection and authentication of data, analysis, reporting, and presentation of findings to stakeholders, local, state, and national audiences.Conducts report writing in partnership with research team members on the results of research findings and provides writing support for grant activities, with a focus on translation of findings for practitioner audiences.Works with team members to recommend, develop, and execute funding applications, including conceptual and theoretical frameworks to address the topic areas of mass shootings in rural, border communities, history, research method design, and project management plans.Act as a consultant with local, state, and national stakeholders and facilitate the dissemination of findings.Supervise and provide opportunities for student support in their assignments and professional development.Other duties as assigned.
