Associate Broker, Casualty National PracticeAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Power Broking business group within Aon Risk Solutions.This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Boston, MA; New York, NY; Denver, CO; or Houston, TX office.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeAssist Sr. Brokers with marketing new and renewal business and assist with handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to client.Ensure that placements are handled correctly and on timeDevelop and maintain thorough knowledge of Casualty Broking marketplace, products and services.Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teamsAssist with identifying and analyzing prospect and client exposures.Coordinate activities with other internal units as required to meet customer needs.Assist with key processes and internal activities to deliver client facing servicesObtain P&C broker licenseHow this opportunity is differentPosition will include, but not limited to, preparation of renewal information, follow up/information tracking with carriers and clients, coverage/policy reviews, and other tasks deemed by senior placement specialist as critical to delivery of timely, high-quality service. Previous broking experience a plus.This role will require a willingness to develop knowledge of the power industry, casualty risks and exposures.
