Job Description $10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine UW Medical Center-Montlake u2013 Hepatology Department has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager, RN3 . WORK SCHEDULE u00b7 Full time / 100% FTE u00b7 Day Shifts DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Hepatology RN provides extensive support, including facilitation of Hepatology clinic operations, coordinating emergency admissions, providing patient education, planning comprehensive care, clarifying physician recommendations, managing immunosuppression for auto-immune hepatitis and antiviral therapy for Hep B and Hep C. In addition, coordinating the complications of End Stage Liver Disease is significant, including treatment for ascites, esophageal varices, and HCC surveillance. These activities include managing external labs, use of database for lab trending, medication review and providing test results.
