Environmental Engineer

Job DescriptionResearch, design, plan, and perform engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards using various engineering disciplines. Work may include waste treatment, site remediation, or pollution control technology.Responsibilities- Data Collection and Analysis:u00a0Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.- Engineering Drawings:u00a0Create engineering drawings to support the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions.- Engineering Solutions Design:u00a0Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.- Health, Safety, and Environment:u00a0Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.- Technical Developments Recommendation:u00a0Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users' needs.- Personal Capability Building:u00a0Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.- Testing:u00a0Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards.- Research:u00a0Support others by carrying out a range of research activities.- Waste Management:u00a0Support waste management efforts, aiding in waste reduction programs, waste segregation, storage, transportation, and disposal.- Technical Troubleshooting:u00a0Support technical troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments.- Project Management:u00a0Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities.- Client & Customer Management (External):u00a0Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.Education- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in Environmental Engineering or related field.Experience- General Experience:u00a00-2 years of experience in a related field.
