Lane Aviation is hiring a mechanic with Experience with Diesel Engines.This position with include checking fluid levels and basic repairs.Must own basic tools. Tool allowance after 1 year.Boot allowance after 90 days.Hours 3am-11:30am M-FSummaryAs a Truck and Equipment Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Lead Mechanic, you will utilize your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your premium skills in working with heavy machinery and fabrication will enhance our operational efficiency. Additionally, your experience as a service technician and strong customer service abilities will contribute to a positive work environment and client satisfaction. Join us to make a significant impact on our organization.Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics and repairs on trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire services.- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.- Collaborate with team members to address complex repairs and ensure timely completion of tasks.- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed while adhering to safety standards.Qualifications:Valid driver's license and a very good driving recordMust be able to pass drug test and FBI background checkWe follow Federal drug testing guidelines in regard to Marijuana regardless of Ohio lawMust be able to meet Airport Authority and Transportation Security Agency requirements (no felonies)Stable employment history preferredUnited States citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.Lane Aviation offers Vacation, Medical and Dental Insurance, 401(K), and Paid Holidays for full time positions.
