Job Description Summary: M-F 8-6 No Call No Weekends The Advanced Practice Provider Behavioral Health works in collaboration with the physician in the outpatient or inpatient settings providing care for the behavioral health patient population. Responsibilities And Duties: Works in consultation/collaboration with physician. Assesses and evaluates patients, H&Ps, consults, writes orders and interprets diagnostic tests, discharges, etc. Promotes quality outcomes and initiatives. Must have a standard care arrangement SCA or Supervisory Agreement SA with a physician in like practice. Practices within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with his/her SCA/SA and delineation of privileges. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree (Required)AANP - American Association of Nurse Practitioners - American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, CNP - Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, CNS - Clinical Nurse Specialist - National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing Additional Job Description: SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Must have a current APRN license to practice from the Ohio Board of Nursing and maintain this licensure from State Nursing Board of Ohio. Must have current Certification and maintain this Certification from a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP) OR Must have a current Physician Assistant License to practice in Ohio and maintain this from the State Medical Board of Ohio.
