Description We are looking for an experienced attorney with a minimum of five years of medical malpractice litigation expertise to join our mid-sized Plaintiff's law firm team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic plaintiff-focused law firm, handling complex civil cases and advocating for clients in need. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation skills, a passion for justice, and a proven ability to manage cases from initiation to resolution. Responsibilities: u2022 Represent clients in medical malpractice cases, ensuring thorough preparation and advocacy in all stages of litigation. u2022 Draft legal motions, briefs, and other required documents with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Conduct comprehensive discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories, to build strong cases. u2022 Collaborate with a dedicated legal team to strategize and execute effective case plans. u2022 Analyze medical records and expert opinions to support claims and develop persuasive arguments. u2022 Negotiate settlements where appropriate, while maintaining a focus on the best interests of the client. u2022 Prepare for and participate in trials, presenting evidence and arguments in court. u2022 Stay current on legal trends and updates in medical malpractice litigation to strengthen case strategies. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear guidance and updates throughout the legal process. Requirements u2022 Must have a minimum of five years of experience in medical malpractice litigation. u2022 Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona is required. u2022 Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures. u2022 Proven ability to draft high-quality motions, briefs, and legal documents. u2022 Expertise in conducting discovery and managing complex case files. u2022 Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret medical records and expert opinions. u2022 Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interaction and courtroom presentation. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
