Privacy & Data Policy Manager

Summary: Meta is looking for a Privacy and Data Policy manager who is experienced in building products with privacy at their core. This role will focus on policy support for privacy product decisions in Facebook Threads and IG. The role will also lead Metau2019s strategy on privacy topics such as Data Access, Transfer, and Portability. Finally, this role will contribute policy perspective in shaping Privacy Marketing initiatives.This role is highly collaborative and involves working closely with product managers, engineers, public policy and communications specialists, and external stakeholders. This role will serve as a subject matter expert on privacy and data protection for Metau2019s global policy team, work with partner teams to evaluate and respond to policy developments, and engage with external experts on these issues. Required Skills: Privacy & Data Policy Manager Responsibilities: 1. Lead and participate in cross-functional working groups of product managers, engineers, public policy and communications specialists, and others to help the company simultaneously address policy, legal, engineering, user interface, business, marketing and other privacy requirements 2. Engage with external stakeholders to drive conversations around key privacy issues 3. Present on behalf of Meta regarding privacy issues, including in external meetings and conferences 4. Build consensus around innovative solutions to privacy in new technologies and contexts 5. Serve as a strategic advisor to executives Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 6. 9+ years of experience working in a privacy, public policy or related field 7. Bachelor's degree 8. Knowledge of Meta products, features, and policies 9.
