Job Summary The Division of Pediatric Neurology in the University of Utah School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner (NP). The Nurse Practitioner will be part of a specialized multidisciplinary team including attending physicians and residents in pediatric neurology, providing specialized neurological care including to neonates, infants, and children. This position encompasses care delivery across multiple settings including the Intermountain Primary Children's Hospital NICU, University of Utah NICU, outpatient neurology clinics, other pediatric intensive care settings, and via telehealth consultation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate potential for or already established expertise in neonatal neurological assessment, family-centered communication, and evidence-based management of conditions including hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, neonatal seizures, congenital brain malformations, and intraventricular hemorrhage.The Division of Pediatric Neurology is based at the Primary Childrens Hospital Outpatient Services building on the benches overlooking Salt Lake City, and at the Lehi Campus in Utah County.
