Position Summary ThePorter is responsible for maintenance, cleanliness and appearance of thefacility including set-up and breakdown when needed. Overview of Responsibilities u25cfMaintain appearance and cleanliness of all areas of facility u25cf Conduct adaily walkthrough of all spaces to ensure operating departments are practicingproper cleanliness in compliance with hygiene, food safety and sanitation, andboard of health regulations u25cf Sweep, mop,vacuum, replace and replenish paper goods as needed u25cf Maintaincleanliness of all restrooms u25cf Ensure alllight fixtures are properly maintained and cleaned u25cf Empty andproperly dispose of all garbage, ensure cleanliness of all trash basins andcontainers u25cf Maintainclear paths for all fire exits in compliance with local regulations u25cf Participatein the physical count of all silverware, glassware and utensils u25cf Collaborationwith BOH management on ordering cleaning supplies u25cfSupport back of house cleaning duties including organization andcleanliness of glassware, dishes, equipment u25cfComplete minor repairs as needed including light bulb changes,repair of damaged tables/chairs u25cfAid in efforts to control glassware breakage or loss by handlingitems with care u25cfReport to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in thecorrect uniform u25cfPerform other reasonably assigned duties as per business needand/or assigned by management Minimum Qualifications u25cfPrior maintenance experience in high-volume, fast paced restaurantor similar environment preferred u25cfExceptional guest service and hospitality skills u25cfStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic u25cfExcellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a team andindependently u25cfAbility to take direction, and communicate effectively andprofessionally u25cfAbility to perform physical requirements of position includingstanding for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, ableto lift loads of up to 50 lbs.
