Develops, implements,manages and evaluates the administrative operations and resources of aresearch program. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities (but notlimited to): Serves as the administrative resource and liaison for theprogram, interacting with all levels of personnel, both internal andexternal. Is knowledgeable in all aspects of assigned research trials tobe able to evaluate questions and problems. Ensures that all programpolicies and procedures are developed and up to date. Maintains dailycorrespondence (via email and phone) with all team members and externalstudy/project sponsors in a professional and timely manner, archivingrecords of correspondence per NIH, FDA, and/or other applicable Federal,State, and local regulations. Develops program-specific performancemeasures to assess effectiveness and success of program components.Implements data collection processes and communicates performancethrough periodic reports to working and executive groups. Has theauthority to direct and support employees daily work activities. Has thedirect responsibility to undertake the following employment actions:hiring, termination, corrective action and performance reviews. DirectReports: 4-6 Indirect Reports: None Assists in planning, monitoringand/or managing budget in functional area of department. RequiredQualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.3-5 years related work experience required, 0-1 yearssupervisory/management experience required. Experience in program and/orproject development and implementation. Advanced skills with Microsoftapplications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint orAccess and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents,perform analysis and maintain databases. Competencies: WrittenCommunications: Ability to communicate complex information in Englisheffectively in writing to all levels of staff, management and externalcustomers across functional areas. Oral Communications: Ability toverbally communicate complex concepts in English and address sensitivesituations, resolve conflicts, negotiate, motivate and persuade others.Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate broad and comprehensive knowledge oftheories, concepts, practices and policies with the ability to use themin complex and/or unprecedented situations across multiple functionalareas. Team Work: Ability to act as a team leader for small projects orwork groups, creating a collaborative and respectful team environmentand improving workflows. Results may impact the operations of one ormore departments. Customer Service: Ability to lead operationalinitiatives to meet or exceed customer service standards andexpectations in assigned unit(s) and/or across multiple areas in atimely and respectful manner. Physical Nature of the Job: Sedentarywork: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying,lifting, pushing, pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, withwalking and standing required only occasionally. Pay Range: $65,000.00USD ? $119,995.20 USD The pay range listed for this position is theannual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faithexpects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation isdetermined based on several factors, that may include seniority,education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications,geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicablefactors permissible by law.
