Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to manage a variety of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, at our office in Nashville, Tennessee. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with CPAs and other team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes and a proactive approach to maintaining accurate records. This is an ON-SITE position in Nashville, TN 8:00am-4:00pm + Company promotes from within + 17 days PTO, 13 paid holidays + Medical, dental, and vision benefits + more Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable processes, including handling weekly and monthly bill payments for multiple entities. u2022 Oversee accounts receivable tasks, such as posting monthly cash receipts and adjustments based on departmental summaries. u2022 Process weekly payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments. u2022 Generate month-end reports, including those related to bills paid and general ledger adjustments. u2022 Schedule and coordinate building maintenance services and supply deliveries for the office. u2022 Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. u2022 Collaborate with CPAs to ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for all transactions. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable. u2022 Proficiency in processing payroll on a weekly basis. u2022 Strong skills in generating financial reports and performing general ledger adjustments. u2022 Ability to handle bank reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple financial tasks. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external vendors. u2022 Knowledge of financial software and tools commonly used in bookkeeping. u2022 Familiarity with scheduling and coordinating office maintenance services.
