We design and execute sales and training solutions for small and large companies in the B2B and retail space. MarketSource is headquartered in Alpharetta, GA. Summary The Lead Generator will be responsible for proactively engaging, educating and persuading a consumer to schedule an in-home sales consultation with the clientu2019s sales team. This will require you to work at big box retail locations where leads could be generated for the client. The position requires a combination of an outgoing personality and the ability to quickly determine if the consumer is an ideal candidate for the clientu2019s products and services. Having some basic knowledge of home improvement products and services would be beneficial to the performance of this position. Primary duties include actively seeking out consumers and educate them on the benefits of the clientu2019s products. He/she will also need to determine if the consumer is a homeowner or not, and if so suggest that they schedule a u201cfreeu201d in-home consultation with the clientu2019s sales team. Essential Job Functions: u2022 Proactively engages and educates consumers on the benefits of purchasing the products and services of the client u2022 Qualifies the consumer to determine if they are the right profile for purchasing the products and services of the client u2022 Performs demonstrations of the clientu2019s products to allow the consumer to fully understand the benefits of the products u2022 Convinces the consumer to schedule a u201cFreeu201d in-home consultation with the clientu2019s sales team u2022 Collects and enters appropriate consumer and competitive data required by the client into a MarketSource work order system Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: u2022 Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision (Self-starter) u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills u2022 Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint u2022 Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills u2022 Understanding of business systems, business processes, and client expectations u2022 Proactive, self-motivated, entrepreneurial attitude u2022 Working knowledge with the Internet and web based data collection and reporting Job Requirements: u2022 High School Diploma or GED required u2022 2 years minimum lead generation, or retail sales experience u2022 2 years minimum experience in successful support roles u2022 Must be available to work primarily on weekends.
