This leader understands both the complexities of IRS's mission and the dynamics of federal financial IT modernization, including cloud, data, analytics, CRM modernization, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.What You'll DoAccount Leadership & Growthu2022 Lead the IRS account strategy, owning business growth and client relationships across key IRS business units (e.g., Wage & Investment, Large Business & International, Small Business/Self-Employed, IT/OCIO, Chief Data & Analytics Office).u2022 Serve as the primary Slalom leader and trusted advisor to senior IRS and Treasury stakeholders, with deep insight into mission priorities and modernization objectives.u2022 Identify, shape, and capture opportunities aligned with Slalom's strengths in data modernization, AI/ML, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, workforce enablement, and digital services.u2022 Develop and execute account growth plans-including capture and proposal strategies-in partnership with business development and alliance teams (AWS, Salesforce, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Microsoft, etc.).u2022 Drive account revenue, pipeline development, delivery excellence, and client satisfaction metrics.Client Impact & Delivery Excellenceu2022 Oversee delivery across IRS engagements, ensuring quality, compliance, performance, and alignment to mission outcomes.u2022 Translate IRS mission challenges-such as taxpayer experience improvement, fraud detection, advanced analytics, and secure digital modernization-into actionable, technology-enabled solutions.u2022 Lead account governance, delivery oversight, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts.u2022 Ensure teams deliver measurable value aligned with IRS's strategic goals and modernization roadmap.People Leadership & Collaborationu2022 Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing delivery and account teams grounded in Slalom's values.u2022 Cultivate a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning across the IRS portfolio.u2022 Partner across Slalom markets, practices, and capabilities to bring integrated, human-centered, and innovative solutions to Treasury's financial and compliance mission.What You'll BringRequired Qualificationsu2022 10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in federal consulting, financial systems modernization, or public-sector technology delivery, with demonstrated success supporting IRS or the Department of the Treasury.u2022 Deep familiarity with IRS mission areas such as taxpayer services, enforcement and compliance, analytics, or enterprise IT modernization.u2022 Proven track record of federal capture management, proposal leadership, and account growth within complex government environments.u2022 Strong knoTo view the full job description,
