MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Cloud Consulting lead, the work youu2019ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Federal Government. You will play a crucial role as an experienced technology professional who advises on cloud computing strategies, implementation, and optimization. You will Assess business needs, design scalable cloud solutions, provide strategic guidance, and overseed cloud adoption. + Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions + Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical expertise on cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies of high complexity + Research, evaluate, and deploy advanced cloud computing systems and large data analytics + Assists customers with data integration and migration efforts, including mapping schemas and defining domain specific ontologies + Develop large data technologies, algorithms, and applications + Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned + Provides guidance and leadership to less-experienced cloud development personnel + May serve as a team or task leader. The Cloud Developer Sr Principal must have: u25cf Education: Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Master's degree preferred. u25cf Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in information technology, including at least four (4) years in cloud strategy, cloud transformation leadership, or enterprise cloud adoption initiatives. u25cf Required relevant experience includes: + Leading large-scale cloud migration and transformation projects across hybrid and multi-cloud FedRamp environments. + Advising on cloud strategy, governance, security, and financial optimization. + Deep technical understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless technologies. + Hands-on expertise with all four of the following platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). + Engaging with senior stakeholders to align technical recommendations with organizational strategy. + Delivering executive-level briefings and transformation roadmaps. The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
