No County Albany Street Address Local Programs Bureau 50 Wolf Road City Albany State NY Zip Code 12232 Duties Description Interns may perform the following duties:u2022 Assist with developing and delivering presentations for Consolidated Local Streets and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS) and Emergency Relief (ER) trainingsu2022 Participate in the review and preparation of quarterly CHIPS reimbursementsu2022 Assist with compiling materials for monthly Regional Local Project Liaison (RLPL), ER, and CHIPS coordination calls with Regionsu2022 Help prepare municipal outreach materials, guidance documents, and job aidsu2022 Support data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks related to program operationsu2022 Assist with research on program-related best practices and policy guidanceu2022 Attend internal team meetings and shadow Local Programs Bureau activities to gain exposure to State and Federal Aid administrationResponsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the departmentu2019s response to regional and statewide emergency situations. Minimum Qualifications Must have completed at least 12 credit hours of college study and be currently enrolled in an accredited degree program.
