For an exciting opportunity to join our sales team, apply today _Why join the_ _Accelerated Sales Program_ _at White Cap?_ The Accelerated Sales Program is a comprehensive, sales-specific training program designed to fast-track the growth and development of new Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers. Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders in a 6-12 month program to develop the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales. _An_ _Account Manager_ _-_ _Accelerated Sales Program_ _u2026_ + Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Capu2019s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills. + Prepares and executes account plans. + Sells White Cap value proposition and products. + Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers. + Enters and processes customer orders. + Performs other duties as assigned. + This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 80% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report. Preferred Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience + Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members + Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence. + Competitive nature with a drive to succeed + Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics + Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance + Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities + Spanish language proficiency If youu2019re looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
