Main responsibilities: u2022 Performing routine manual housekeeping work while cleaning various areas across campus. u2022 Cleaning, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping, and vacuuming floors, as well as stairwells and hallways. u2022 Cleaning of lavatories, washing windows, moving furniture to thoroughly clean areas, and collecting and removing trash. This is an ongoing recruitment. Other Work/Responsibilities: Shifts Available: + 4 AM u2013 12:30 PM, M u2013 F + 8 AM u2013 4:30 PM, M u2013 F + 10:30 PM- 7 AM Sun. u2013 Fri Required Qualifications: Candidates: u2022 Must have working knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning procedures including the proper utilization of cleaning chemicals and supplies. u2022 Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English u2022 Must be able to visually inspect work area to assure it has been cleaned. u2022 Physical requirements include walking, bending, stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation Preferred Qualifications: u2022 6+ months of professional cleaning experience strongly preferred.
