Business Systems Analyst-Senior or Staff

Job Description: Business Systems Analyst-Senior is responsible to perform system analysis, cost analysis, and design for software development/acquisition projects. The business analyst acts as a liaison with business and clinical users and the software development / application team(s). Senior-level professional experienced in all aspects of business systems analysis. Encompasses full knowledge required within the software development lifecycle with a focus on business workflow and requirements. Typically designs and develops approaches that are implemented by others. Is able to function with minimal oversight and direction. Provides technical guidance to peers. Essential Functions + Serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication. Effectively conveys advanced technical information both written and verbal to diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization and vendor partners from executives to end-users. + Utilizes a variety of elicitation techniques, such as job-shadowing, interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis, to gather comprehensive business requirements from stakeholders.
