Sr IRIS Training Specialist Job Summary The Sr IRIS Training Specialist is responsible for delivering a standard training curriculum for all incoming IRIS Consultants, developing training materials to ensure consistent training among IRIS Consultant staff, and leading and executing training activities and initiatives to support IRIS program operations and field staff in the areas of referrals, enrollments, disenrollment's, workload assignments, ongoing eligibility, service authorization, and other requirements of Wisconsinu2019s IRIS program. The position requires independent problem solving; strategic thinking and initiative; and the ability to use data to monitor contract compliance, coordination across functions, and technical competencies. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities u00b7 Analyzes data and workflow, offers suggestions for improvement and/or changes to management, and assists with the implementation of changes. u00b7 Maintains primary responsibility, as assigned, for functions such as consultation, training, and support to field staff, caseload assignments, financial eligibility support, program eligibility support, enrollment and disenrollment activities, timely welcome calls, prior authorizations, and individualized service plan activities. u00b7 Manages projects and engages in problem solving and overall process development and implementation within identified areas of primary responsibility and subject matter expertise. u00b7 Provides skilled supports to Operations and field staff in completing data entry and tracking within WISITS, SharePoint, and Power BI. u00b7 Responds to incoming email requests from coworkers, providers, and partner agencies. u00b7 Manages phone queues and assists with outgoing and incoming calls. u00b7 Ensures assigned areas of primary responsibility operate at high levels of efficiency and in accordance with IRIS program requirements. u00b7 Serves as a liaison to other IRIS partners or providers as needed. u00b7 Establishes and maintains positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers. u00b7 Completes other duties as assigned. u00b7 Strong customer service skills u00b7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills u00b7 Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills u00b7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills u00b7 Ability to adhere to HIPAA rules and maintain strictest confidentiality u00b7 Ability to focus on multiple priorities simultaneously u00b7 Ability to be resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented, and learn and incorporate new tasks quickly u00b7 Ability to work both collaboratively and independently u00b7 Ability to analyze data, draw appropriate conclusions and recommend solutions u00b7 Ability to seek out opportunities to learn and growu2014embrace challenges and learn from them u00b7 Flexibility in the work environment and willingness and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs u00b7 Demonstrated computer and software skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other software; database operation/maintenance skills and data entry experience Required Qualifications u2022 At least 2 years of applicable administrative and/or health care experience, preferably serving the target groups of the IRIS program (adults with physical/intellectual disabilities or older adults), or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a related field or commensurate experience. u2022 Strong customer service skills. u2022 Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills. u2022 Analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and maintain strictest confidentiality. u2022 Ability to focus on multiple priorities simultaneously. u2022 Resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented, and ability to learn and incorporate new tasks quickly. u2022 Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, including ability to function as a strong partner on project teams. u2022 Ability to seek out opportunities to learn and grow, embrace challenges and learn from them. u2022 Demonstrated flexibility in the work environment, and willingness and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs. u2022 Data entry experience. u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills. u2022 Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency.
