We arelooking for candidates with a demonstrated track record of clinicalexcellence and academic contributions. The successful candidate willhave a strong focus on a clinical practice in general thoracic surgerydelivering high-quality patient care, and development of a scholarlyclinical or basic science research program. Expertise in minimallyinvasive techniques (VATS and/or robotics) is mandatory. A willingnessto participate in our lung transplant and ECMO programs is highlydesired but not mandatory. Applicants for this position will beconsidered for the following titles: Assistant Professor, AssociateProfessor, or Professor on the Clinical Health Science (CHS) track. Thetitle is determined by the experience and qualifications of thefinalist. This position is full time This position requires work to becompleted onsite, at a designated campus work location. This positionhas been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerablepopulations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initialcaregiver check to be eligible for employment under the WisconsinCaregiver Law and then every two years.Key Job Responsibilities:Research Support for research and/or programmaticparticipation/development will also be considered.
