JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Summary Quest Diagnostics is a leadingprovider of worksite wellness screening and health improvement programs.During a biometric wellness screening, a trained Quest DiagnosticsHealth & Wellness provider will collect a number of measurements,including height, weight, blood pressure, waist and/or hipcircumference, as well as a finger stick for glucose and cholesterollevels. This is an independent contractor (1099) position with thepossibility of converting to a W2 per diem employee after meetingcertain criteria. Responsibilities: Perform biometric screening atclient sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, BloodPressure and other health screening services based on service packagePerforms basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples andcompletes required quality control. Provide exceptional customer serviceat all health screenings. Maintains accurate, complete, and legiblerecords. Participates in training/retraining and continuing educationprograms as necessary. Complies with all designated safety policies andprocedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protectiveequipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectiousagents. Understands and complies with applicable federal, state andlocal laws.Adheres to quality assurance procedures and goodmanufacturing practices. Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards while onevents. Performs other related duties as necessary. Qualifications:Required Work Experience: N/A Preferred Work Experience: At least 1 yearof healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred. Physicaland Mental Requirements: Lift light to moderately heavy objects. Thenormal performance of duties may require lifting and carrying objects.Objects in the weight range of 1 to 15 pounds are lifted and carriedfrequently; objects in the weight range of 16 to 40 pounds may be liftedand carried occasionally.
