JOB REQUIREMENTS: Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin.BETTER TOGETHER 0.90 FTE / 36 hours per week. Madison College ClinicThis position is eligible for a $3000 INCENTIVE for joining GHC(Amount prorated based on FTE) The Care Team Specialist (CTS)participates as a member of a care team and supports high qualitypatient care including engaging patients in maintaining their physicaland mental well-being. The Care Team Specialist performs technical,clinical, and administrative tasks which contribute to the smoothworkflow and quality patient care experience in the clinic.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to pre-visit preparation,monitoring patient flow, rooming patients, obtaining patient historiesand vital signs, managing certain test results following protocols,supporting Epic in-basket workflow, returning phone calls, and assistingwith medical examinations and procedures. The Care Team Specialistassists and collaborates with the Registered Nurses and MedicalProviders in the management and coordination of patient care. The CTSstaff will participate in the review of team/provider in-baskets and MyChart messages for the assigned care team. Practitioner and RegisteredNurse staff may delegate assignments to the Care Team Specialist. CTSstaff at GHC-SCW will have successfully completed medical assistanttraining, licensed practical nurse training, Paramedic training, or EMTtraining from an accredited program. Job Specific Minimum Qualifications Must meet the requirementsfor a Medical Assistant (MA), a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or anEMT as described below: Medical Assistants must have successfullycompleted an MA training program from an accredited school or programand must be eligible for and receive national certification within six(6) months of employment or must have three years of MA experience andhave current national certification.
