We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill cardiac patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cardiovascular conditions in a high-acuity environment. Nurses on this unit are an integral part of a collaborative team delivering expert care to some of the hospital's most vulnerable populations. RESPONSIBILITIES: u00b7 Patient Care & Service. Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; performing various treatment procedures; providing physical, educational and emotional support to patients, friends and families; supervising assigned team members u00b7 Planning & Communication. Develop and document individualized care plans customized for each patientu2019s unique needs, with support from the interdisciplinary health team as needed; maintain effective communication to convey patient health status, treatment plans and progress u00b7 Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management. Demonstrate proficient use of an EHR u2013 including accurate patient and provider documentation and communication u00b7 Compliance. Adhere to required department and system protocols, regulations (local, state, federal) and education requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: u00b7 Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required u00b7 RN License in New York State u00b7 Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: u00b7 Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred u00b7 At least 6 months RN experience preferred. EDUCATION: AS: Nursing (Required) LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. PAY RANGE: $39.74 - $52.99 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14621 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
