IT Software Architect - SAP Systems Integration Apply now u00bb Date:Nov 8, 2025 Location: Rochester, NY, US, 14650 Company: Kodak Role Overview Eastman Kodak is seeking a highly experienced, visionary IT Software Architect onsite in Rochester, New York to lead the modernization of our enterprise-wide integration initiatives leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and modern AI-enabled development practices. This leadership role will drive the design, implementation and optimization of scalable, secure, real-time integration architectures using modern API-first principles and event-driven frameworks. Your expertise of the SAP BTP platform and a deep understanding of the application development, integration and workflow capabilities will ensure seamless real time enterprise integrations, enable efficient data flows and enhance operational agility. This strategic leadership position will architect and deploy solutions to solve integration patterns across cloud, on-prem, legacy and SaaS environments. In this role, you will be responsible for driving these solutions within technical, application and data intelligence teams while collaborating on defining optimal business processes which leverage real time integration. This position requires multiple functional ERP and technology competencies with the ability to architect complicated, integrated solutions. The ability to prioritize and design solution scope with the proper integration trade-offs to support the business and IT performance objectives is essential. This is a leadership position which requires a high degree of business and technical knowledge. In this role you will act as a change agent so effective communication, negotiation and prioritization skills are required. Responsibilities: u2022 Design, develop and implement software integration technologies for seamless multi-application integration within overall data and solution architectural patterns u2022 Define the software engineering integration architecture patterns required to support the overall solution strategy and create organizational alignment and support u2022 Create the overall technical direction and review proposed solutions to ensure adherence, including code reviews, mentoring, and coaching software engineers in an AI-enabled ecosystem u2022 Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes for continuous improvement and increased technical agility and performance u2022 Mentor, manage and coach IT professionals to create productive, high-performance teams with a focus on best practice API management, security and governance u2022 Provide technical leadership and expertise in ABAP development best practices, guiding the ABAP development team in designing, developing and deploying solutions within the SAP BTP environment u2022 Work directly with stakeholders to analyze current technology and business processes needs, understand functional gaps, and make best practice/strategic recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional knowledge u2022 Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and perform discovery using analytical tools to deliver impactful insights for cost reduction, process improvement and overall business performance u2022 Using an SAP first approach, determine the feasibility, scope and prioritization of development requests Requirements: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Math or equivalent degree & experience u2022 15+ years technical experience in an SAP S4Hana / ECC environments u2022 10+ years in JavaScript / NodeJS / ABAP / SAP Fiori development u2022 5+ years hands-on experience in SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite u2022 5+ years of supervisory and / or project leadership u2022 Strong understanding of API design principles and experience in implementing event-based architectures u2022 Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms, preferably MS Azure EOE Policy Statement: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
