Location: Rochester, NY Category: Student Employment Posted On: Mon Jun 30 2025 Job Description: Function of Position: Reporting to the Grounds Supervisor, this position assists in providing general outdoor spaces upkeep to ensure the functionality of the Grounds department. Examples of Duties & Responsibilities: + Performs specific duties to assist in ensuring Grounds work is maintained. Responsibilities include: + Assist with Trash pick up + Assist with Weeding and Gardening + Assist with General Maintenance - cleaning outdoor areas, picking up litter and ensuring common spaces look presentable + Assist with event set up and clean up - helping set up outdoor spaces for events + Assist with Minor outdoor repairs - painting MCC Expectations: + Adheres to the College Code of Conduct. + Contributes to, supports, and maintains an equitable, inclusive, and collaborative College environment. + Maintains technological competencies utilized by the College. + Commits to the philosophy of a comprehensive community college. + Commits to professional growth. which includes seeking ongoing training in diversity, equity and inclusion to better serve students.
