Job Title: CT Technologist Department: Radiology Location: Imaging Center - Alexander Park Hours Per Week: Per Diem Schedule: Per Diem SUMMARY: As a CT Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality greatly enhance the overall success of imaging and the department as a whole. RESPONSIBILITIES: u00b7 Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT-guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for the CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs. u00b7 Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts. u00b7 Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock, and prepare rooms. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: u00b7 Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent. u00b7 NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment. u00b7 American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment. u00b7 Effective 7/16/2018 - NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: u00b7 Prior Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. u00b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications preferred. u00b7 Exceptional customer service and communication skills preferred. PAY RANGE: $32.00 - $44.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14607 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
