At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do.We are seeking au00a0Psychiatristu00a0tou00a0join ouru00a0Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT)u00a0inu00a0Pittsburgh, PA.Earn $200/hru00a0Shift: Part-time up to 20 hours per week - onsite and telehealthu00a0u00a0Position Details:u00a0Theu00a0Psychiatristu00a0is qualified in the mental health profession, and possesses the clinical skills and experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and provide psychiatric treatment, and rehabilitation for adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities (Dually Diagnosed). Theu00a0Psychiatristu00a0works in conjunction with all team members, DDTT internal supports and Interagency Team- Provide individual medication orders, prescriptions, psychiatric evaluations and symptom management, ensuring that immediate changes to treatment are made as necessary.- Provide supervision and direction to registered nurses or certified nurse practitioners regarding prescriptions, orders, lab orders or medication side effects/interactions.- Acts as a liaison and consult with hospitals, community agencies, and families to maintain coordination through the treatment process.- Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluation of each individual on the team that captures psychiatric history, risk assessment, functional assessment, and recommendations.- Provide on-call consultation to the team after hours associated with symptom management and psychiatric conditions.About our team:The Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) is a recovery-oriented approach to supporting youth and adults who are diagnosed with both a mental illness and an intellectual disability.
