This position is responsible for effectively and proactively implementing techniques for planning, coordinating, and reporting on the daily activities of the inspections and advanced expediting of equipment suppliers, component manufacturers, and construction sub-contractors.The SQS Coordinator reports directly to the Manager of Supplier Quality Surveillance for Life Sciences North America. while maintaining an indirect connection with the SQS Manager and Project Manager for the assigned project.Bring your curiosity, passion for innovation, and talent for multi-tasking in afast-paced environment and we will help you grow, pursue and fulfill what inspires you - so we can make big impacts on the world, togetherSome responsibilities will include:u2022 As an overall Project SQS Coordinator, use critical thinking and problem solving to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Projectu2019s SQS effortsu2022 Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and toolsu2022 Evaluate project and equipment schedules and coordinate the assignments of 3rd party inspectors accordinglyu2022 Review 3rd party inspector qualifications to ensure they are up to date prior to assignments. Maintain qualification documentation in the project repositoryu2022 Act as liaison between the 3rd party inspectors and the Jacobs Work Package Owners for the relevant equipment ordersu2022 Provide access to project documentation for the 3rd party inspectors. This may include specifications, P&IDu2019s, procedures, etc.u2022 Track effort hours from both 3rd party inspectors and advanced expeditors against the project budget. Calculate and report required Estimates To Complete (ETC) for hours needed to complete the scope of worku2022 Attend project expediting meetings. Identify targeted needs for shop expediting. Assign SQS Engineer or Technician to fulfill these project needsu2022 Review reports from both inspectors and SQS engineers for completeness, then distribute reports to relevant stakeholders, and file in the project repository u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent years of project experience in lieu of degreeu2022 5+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material managementu2022 2+ years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects preferredu2022 Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.u2022 Must possess strong communication, organization, and management abilities.
