This job is ON - SITE. 4NE is a 33-bed Internal Medicine Unit.Our patient populations include chronic disease management (CHF, COPD,ESRD, DM), sepsis, infectious workups, Hepatology and Gastrointestinalevaluations, Sickle Cell, CIWA/COWS, psych, evaluation for subacuterehab and skilled nursing facilities and much more. Nursing skills areMed/Surg focused: Foley insertions, trach cares/suctioning, gastrictubes (NG, NJ, PEGs), wound cares/vacs, IV/central line medications, PCApumps, patient education, and promoting the highest function ofactivities of daily living. 4NE specializes in Cystic Fibrosis (CF). TheFroedtert & MCW Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program is accredited by theCystic Fibrosis Foundation. When patients are admitted with CF, 4NEInternal Medicine is the unit where they receive care. As the largestInternal Medicine Unit, team dynamics and trusting relationships arecrucial to the success of our unit.
