In the role ofa Research GrantsCoordinator you will beworking in our Obstetrics and GynecologyDepartment. Summary Develops grant applications, grant budgetpreparation and financial monitoring/reporting, and subcontractpreparation and monitoring while maintaining federal and statecompliance laws. Areas of oversight will include research involvinghuman subjects, laboratory animals, environmental safety issues, andother non-financial compliance requirements related to sponsoredresearch and grants management. Manage OBGYN post awards. PrimaryResponsibilities Work closely with Division Administrator, the Grantsand Contracts office, and Principal Investigators, as well as relatedmatrix department relationships to ensure accountability compliance, andaccuracy in grant budgets, grant submissions in eBridge, and performother related duties. Serve as a liaison between faculty, MCWdepartments, centers and external collaborative constituents regardingthe processing of research grants and assist with resolution of pre andpost award issues. Organize/coordinate research activities andcommunications. Lead in the administrative organization, developmentof timeline, analysis of required forms and responses of Request forApproval (RFA) and/or proposal call for routine and complex grantmechanisms. Verify grant is in compliance with grant sourcerequirements. Provide assistance and tracking of grant and contractmechanisms, including f funding announcement, internal management ofproposals, internal review and awarding functions. Oversee thecollection, analysis, and dissemination of research data and grantproposal development. Develop, implement and maintain comprehensivedatabases and files related to the grant submissions. Maintainprogram timeline including tracking deadlines for grant components suchas submission deadlines, funding cycles, timelines for annual reports,etc. Identify problems or obstacles in the system/procedures relatedto administration of the funding proposals/funded proposals andcommunicate to the appropriate faculty/staff.
